Scott Mann began his career 33 years ago. He joined the family owned business, Cec Mann Real Estate, Stanthorpe, in 1986, initially as Merchandise Salesman. With the guidance of his father, Scott progressed to qualified Real Estate Agent and Auctioneer. His qualifications extend to both Queensland and New South Wales. Scott is a third generation Real Estate Agent, in Stanthorpe, with his Grandfather, Jimmy Mann, starting 1961. His father James (Cec) Mann took over the business in 1963, and Scott in turn, took up the business in October 2005.

Scott owes much of his business and personal success to following the Mann family philosophy, as instilled on him by his father. "In every aspect of your life, treat other people, as you would have them treat you."
